What is Life Coaching?
Life Coaching is a process that takes a client from where they are now forward to where they want to be in the future. It looks at what the client wants to achieve it could be a major goal or small goals to eventually achieve a major outcome. It can ensure that the person is moving in the right direction with a powerful support method. That support is confidential and non-judgemental, there is a partnership between the coach and the client that allows the client to move forward and realise their true potential.
It may be that the client doesn’t really know what they want, they are perhaps unhappy about their personal or business life and coaching can sift through the elements of their life ie work, relationships to establish where the client is most unhappy and work on their areas. Whatever area is worked on will have a ripple effect through all other areas. Coaching can be applied to all areas of life: relationships, career, work.life balance, financial, health, redundancy
Life Coaching looks at where the client is now and the options available to move forward with an action plan that is realistic and that the client can carry out and keep motivated to move forward.
Life Coaching is not counselling and looking at past events, only if self limiting beliefs are holding the client back then these will be explored.
Amanda Downes is a qualified Life Coach and has trained with the Coaching Academy and has a diploma in Life Coaching.
Coaching can be done over the telephone weekly or fortnightly for 45 minute sessions.
